BIOGRAPHY
Lee Turner Kodak was born in Canada, but always dreamed of warmer climes, hence his current residence in Germany. From an early age, Lee was fascinated by stand-up comedy. Unfortunately, he was also fascinated with languages and cultures and spent years bouncing around from country to country: Spain, France, Germany, Chile, Russia - the usual suspects. Getting up the courage to get on stage took a little while.
As a stand-up comic, Lee performs around Europe and co-produces Cologne's only weekly English stand-up open mic. In his academic career, Lee studied satirical news and is now working on a PhD examining the scandalisation of stand-up comedy. When not writing or performing, you can find him gardening or cooking; he's in his mid-30s but has the hobbies of a 65-year-old woman from Cleveland.
